Who should attend? Children
Engaging children and youth – through an accessible recreational summer day camp SLSP is a fun-filled, exciting summer day camp, in ASL, for Deaf and hard of hearing children, their hearing siblings, and hearing children with Deaf and hard of hearing relatives. Camp activities include field trips, swimming, sports and physical activity, arts and crafts, and games. Campers engage Deaf and hearing counsellors, in ASL. Kids of Deaf Adults (KODA) Camp is a unique extension of SLSP and is run by hearing adults who have Deaf and hard of hearing parents themselves. KODA Camp runs at the same time as SLSP and campers have the opportunity to interact with Deaf and hard of hearing campers as well as their KODA peers. All campers get to enjoy meeting role models, having fun with peers, and making new friends. Monday, July 4th, 2022 - Friday, August 19th, 2022 Register Who is SLSP for? Campers between the ages of 6 – 14 who are Deaf, or hearing with a Deaf family member. When is the camp? The camp runs for 7 weeks
