Do you want to learn how to stay organized? Do you want to become more independent with your time management, organization, motivation and problem solving when it comes to your school work? You will leave this group with helpful ideas to use when studying or completing your homework. Thursday, October 7th, 2021 – Thursday, October 28th, 2021 (4 sessions) 4:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Register This Foundational Family Service training is intended to provide persons with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aged 11-13, who are registered in the Ontario Autism Program (OAP), information regarding strategies to support homework completion and study skills. Depending on the person’s skill level with technology, a mediator may be required to attend the session to assist as needed. This webinar is led by an Autism Consultant or a Behaviour Therapist Master Minds: A “How To” Guide To Homework will be delivered live via Zoom for Professionals and the following is required to participate: • Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer • An internet connection • Speakers and a microphone • A webcam Ratio: 8 participants and 3 staff Cost: there is no cost to participate Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, confirmation of OAP registration and completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and consent forms will be required. Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program. These services assist families in supporting their child’s learning and development.
