Presented by: Charmaine Lane - Registered Psychotherapist and Guest Speaker Far too long the definitions of mental health has been rooted in a very colonial Eurocentric viewpoint and have caused harm in racialized communities and specifically in Black communities. This workshop will focus on the effects of racism on the mental health of Black Youth and Children and the lasting traumatic effects. Tuesday, May 4th, 2021 6:30 p.m. - 8:30 p.m. Register It will examine racism and racial trauma as a contribution to other mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, self- esteem and self confidence just to name a few.
