Tuesday, May 25, 2021 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m. Register The Caregiver e-Connect is facilitated by Autism Consultants over Zoom. Registering on My Community Hub does not guarantee a spot in this group. Families are required to complete an intake with Kerry’s Place in order to participate. A staff member will contact you to complete the intake. As this program is run over Zoom, a telehealth consent form must be completed prior to being given the login information. Caregiver eConnect will be delivered live via Zoom and the following is required to participate: • Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer • An internet connection • Speakers and a microphone • A webcam Ratio: 25 participants and 2 staff Cost: there is no cost to participate Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, confirmation of OAP registration, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and consent forms will be required. Please note: Foundational Family Services (FFS) are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program. These services assist families in supporting their child’s learning and development. King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
