Who should attend?    Parents and Caregivers

This live webinar is intended for family members and caregivers who would like to enhance their skills in managing crisis situations, and learn about de-escalation techniques.

Participants will be provided with an overview of the verbal and non-verbal communication concepts and strategies taught in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NVCI-CPI) training program that can help in the support and care of family members, or people they support, with Autism Spectrum Disorder, both at home and in the community.

This webinar is led by NVCI-trained facilitators. Participants will have the opportunity to join in discussions and ask questions.

Caregiver Nonviolent Crisis Intervention (NVCI-CPI) will be delivered live via Zoom and the following is required to participate:
• Mobile Device, Tablet or Computer
• An internet connection
• Speakers and a microphone
• A webcam

There is no cost to participate. Participants will not be certified.

Please Note: Registration does not guarantee a space in this webinar. To be eligible, completion of a Kerry’s Place Autism Services intake meeting and consent forms will be required.
