Join Autim Ontario and Geoffrey Ruttherford for a virtual Muay Thai session! Mai Thai is Thailand’s national sport and martial art. It is a form of boxing that requires the use of all limbs and major joints in the body. It is known as the “Science of Eight Limbs”, as it requires the use of both shins, knees, fists, and elbows. Muay Thai training and warm-up drills are renowned for their vigorousness and focus on physical endurance as a way to build strong and durable boxers. This sessions focuses on rudimentary punching and kneeing techniques for 30 minutes, as well as warm-up calisthenics for 15 minutes In order to participate in this event, you will need to be able to access the ZOOM platform; a link will be emailed to all registered participants the day before the event.
