Paving the pathway for your individual’s future. Discuss practical considerations in the shift of caregiver responsibilities’ during the later stages of life. Be confident in knowing your child is set up for success. Share plans regarding financial advice and housing options with fellow caregivers. The Caregiver e-Connect is facilitated by Autism Consultants over Zoom. Monday, April 12th, 2021 1:00 p.m. - 3:00 p.m. Register Registering on My Community Hub does not guarantee a spot in this group. Families are required to complete an intake with Kerry’s Place in order to participate. A staff member will contact you to complete the intake. As this program is run over Zoom, a telehealth consent form must be completed prior to being given the login information. Caregiver eConnect will be delivered live via Zoom and the following is required to participate:

This live webinar is for family members and caregivers who want to learn more about Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). Common characteristics of ASD, possible strengths, needs, learning styles and profiles of persons with ASD will be introduced as well as effective strategies to support your child or loved one.
Kerry's Place - Caregiver Nonviolent Crisis Intervention - Online
Participants will be provided with an overview of the verbal and non-verbal communication concepts and strategies taught in the Nonviolent Crisis Intervention® (NVCI-CPI) training program that can help in the support and care of family members, or people they support, with Autism Spectrum Disorder, both at home and in the community.
