Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
This live webinar is for family members and caregivers who want to learn about the importance of physical distancing in a pandemic, and strategies to help individuals with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD) physically distance when in the community. This training uses Behavioural Skills Training (BST) to teach physical distancing guidelines, emphasizing the importance of following rules, using visual aids and modelling. Disclaimer: This training is intended to provide you with knowledge and strategies on physical distancing. This webinar is led by an Autism Consultant or a Behaviour Therapist. Registrants will have the opportunity to participate in discussions and ask questions. There is no cost to participate. Foundational Family Services are available to persons under the age of 18, and their families, registered with the Ontario Autism Program.
