Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers|Children|Youth
P.A. Day program for siblings of children with special needs, ages 8 to 13 years old This interactive and unique program provides your child with the opportunity to meet other kids who know what it's like to be a sibling to a child with special needs and to express themselves through a wide range of creative play in a safe and non-judgmental space. In the morning, children will get to know other siblings and have the opportunity to share and learn from each other's experiences. In the afternoon, an Expressive Arts facilitator will help them explore their experiences through art making activities. Cost: $45/day Snacks provided. Participants must bring their own nut-free lunch. Space is limited. Please register 2 weeks before the workshop date. King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
