Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
York Support Services Network (YSSN) is hosting a Transition Workshop for those children who are discharged from Early Intervention Services. Staff from YSSN will be presenting information on different programs and services available to families. Following the presentation, families will have the opportunity to book a consultation with YSSN staff to address their individual service needs. Itinerary for the workshop is as follows: Transition presentation - 9.00am-11.30am Working Group - 12.00pm-2.30pm
King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
