Managing Meltdowns and More – Cantonese Workshop Fall 2019. Registration now open! PARENT AND CAREGIVER WORKSHOPS Let’s add to your managing challenging behaviours toolkit! This workshop will go over the basics of behaviour, answering questions like: what is behaviour, why is my child engaging in challenging behaviour, and how can I best support my child when they are engaging in this behaviour? Utilizing a hands-on approach, participants will learn how to identify behaviours that you want to change, the power of reinforcement and how to develop a plan to increase or decrease these behaviours. Participants will leave this workshop with a variety of tips and strategies to feel confident in addressing and managing challenging behaviours. Participants will have the opportunity to connect with other Cantonese-speaking families, ask questions, and share experiences.
King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.

This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
