Sibshops are for 8-13 year old brothers & sisters of kids with special needs. Sibs are invited to join us in Midland for THREE SibShop sessions this school year. Sibshops is a collaborative effort of Simcoe County Resource Consultation Services (a program of CLH Developmental Support Services), Catulpa Community Support Services & Children’s Treatment Network Who runs Sibshops? Our Sibshops are run by a team of people who have a professional understanding of the impact a child with special needs can have on brothers or sisters. Equally important, they have all been trained in the facilitation of Sibshops and have great kid skills! For the adults who run them & for the agencies that sponsor them, Sibshops are evidence of their loving concern for the family member who will have the longest-lasting relationship with a person who has a disability – their sibling!
What is the cost of a Sibshops? There is no fee for siblings to attend.
