Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers|Children|Youth
Join CTN, the Town of Richmond Hill and STEPS Program for a free "try-a-bike" event on Saturday, June 1st from 2:30-4:30pm Elgin West Community Centre 11099 Bathurst Street Richmond Hill An event for children and youth with special needs who want to learn how to ride a bike independently.
There will be a variety of bikes to try. Participants are required to bring and wear their own biking helmet
King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
