Who should attend? Children|Youth
Each camper under the age of 19 must at all times be accompanied by a parent or legal guardian in order to participate in AAC Camp activities. All campers will be required to have completed activity waivers submitted to ISAAC no later than June 30th, 2016, as a precondition for taking part in any AAC Camp program. Sessions will generally begin at 9:30 am or 2:00 pm and will not include lunch. Times and costs are listed with each of the activity descriptions below. All sessions are subject to minimum registration numbers, at the sole discretion of ISAAC International. Register Early! Space is limited so register early to reserve your spot. We are preparing a warm welcome for participants of the ISAAC 2016 AAC Camp (August 6 & 7, 2016), a weekend “day camp” experience for participants of all ages who use AAC. King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
