Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers|Children|Youth|Service Provider|Volunteers
Learn and practice postures to connnect with your breath and body and release long held tension. Improve your coping skills. Students will be introduced to effective breathing techniques that can help manage anxiety. These techniques serve to activate the parasympathetic nervous system, balance the stress response system, and regulate our mind and emotions. This class is appropriate for people struggling with anxiety, acute or chronic stress, and difficulty with sleep. It is also an excellent choice for those who just need some R & R. Chair Yoga session starts Monday Jan. 29th, then continues each Monday for 4 weeks Cost: $60 for 4 week program Registration is required. Email info@you-are-not-alone.ca.
