If you have a brother or sister with Autism Spectrum Disorder and you are between the ages of 8-14 then Sibshops are for you! Sibshops are for siblings only! Parents are not required to stay with their son or daughter during the duration of the program. If the sibling attending the program has any special considerations, it’s important that you inform us prior to the program to ensure that the program will still be a good fit for your son or daughter. Follow the link to register prior to the workshop (select which date you would like to register for): -Mon. Feb. 5, 2018 -Mon. Mar. 5, 2018 -Mon. May 14, 2018 -Mon. Sibshops are pedal-to-the-metal celebrations of the many contributions made by brothers and sisters of kids with special needs. Sibshops acknowledge that being the brother or sister of a person with special needs is for some a good thing, others a not-so-good thing, and for many, somewhere in-between. They reflect a belief that brothers and sisters have much to offer one another — if they are given a chance. Sibshops are a spirited mix of new games (designed to be unique, off-beat, and appealing to a wide ability range), new friends, and discussion activities.
