Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Advocating for your child in the education system can feel overwhelming. Families are often left on their own to understand special education rules and regulations. Parents and students with Autism Spectrum Disorder (where possible) must be actively engaged throughout the education process as full partners in their education to promote optimal learning. This workshop, presented by educational consultant Ed Mahony, is designed to support parents in asserting their rights and teaches them how to be heard in a respectful and positive manner. Click here for more information.
Has your child had an IPRC? Do you understand the IPRC process? If the answer isn't yes to both these questions you need to join us! Even if things are currently going well, this is the time to take this workshop.
