Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers
Are you overwhelmed by the jargon in the education system? Don’t know an IEP from an IOU? This workshop will help you to understand how to navigate the school system to help you get your child the support he or she requires. Through presentation and discussion this session will help you to better understand available school support, IPRC’s, IEP’s, Safety Plans and the Special Equipment Amount (SEA). It is highly recommended that you attend this workshop prior to attending the workshop “A Parent’s Guide to Advocacy within the School System”. August 28th 6:30-9pm Register here
