She trained at Queen’s, Dalhousie and Toronto Universities. Her practice includes assessment and treatment of complex developmental, behavioural and mental health problems in children and youth. She is committed to addressing the needs of this population in Simcoe County by working collaboratively with physicians, educators, and allied professionals in the community.
Workshop Description: This interactive session will cover early signs of ASD, when and how to make a diagnosis in Simcoe County, early intervention principles, dual diagnosis, medication, the new DSM, and medical problems including sleep, nutrition, GI problems and toileting. Whether you suspect a diagnosis, recently received a diagnosis, or have a child who has been diagnosed for several years, this workshop will be sure to provide you with a great deal of information.
