Who should attend? Parents and Caregivers|Children|Youth
Group programming is based on the well-established Social Thinking® Curriculum and is led by a registered Speech-Language Pathologist. Sessions will include role-playing, use of videos, and hands-on activities to practice conversational-based social skills. Conversation-based groups with a focus on initiating and maintaining conversations, participating in group discussions, and connecting with peers. These groups are appropriate for children and adolescents who could benefit from social skills support with their daily interactions.
King City - Adapted Gymnastics (Pulsars Gymnastics Partnership) - York
Adapted Gymnastics is a class for just adaptive athletes who have a broad spectrum of disabilities and severities. They will be partnered with a 2:1 coach.
Kerry's Place (FFS) - Autism: Beyond the Diagnosis - Online
This 2½-hour workshop teaches parents and caregivers strategies and tools to help their children and youth understand their diagnosis, using a strengths-based approach.
